TRIAL CAGNOTTI

It was the day a trial of Enrico Cagnotti courthouse Monday to Maniwaki.
The man is facing charges including fraud, theft, extortion, assault and threats.
The events allegedly occurred between May and July in the Haute-Gatineau.
Cagnotti Enrico, 54, has a criminal record in such matters in Ontario.
The individual was accused of seducing his alleged victim by pretending to be a rich man in order to manipulate and extract money from him.
The accused is representing himself.
The Crown sought to ensure that the suspect does not poll-against himself two witnesses who will soon be questioned in court that the alleged victim.
The accused had to be called to order repeatedly.
The trial will resume March 26.
