Fraud Suspect Sought (Innisfil, ON) Detectives from the South Simcoe Police Criminal Investigation Branch are requesting the assistance of the public in locating a fraudster. Enrico Cagnotti, 57 years old, uses online dating sites to meet women. He enters into relationships with them, and then defrauds them of money through various means. He has a number of aliases, including Enrico Depaolis, Juiseina Cagnotti, Guesppa Depaolis, Rick Cagnotti, Eric Paolis, Rick Gambino, Franco Cesaretti, Enrico Paulozza, and Enrico Pirolo. “We have a local victim”, says Detective Constable Ivan Coulter. “We believe there may be others. This man has been running this scam for several years, and he’s currently wanted by police in Toronto and Peel.” He is wanted by South Simcoe Police on charges of Fraud Under $5000 and Breach Probation. Cagnotti often poses as a businessman from Italy, and drives a flashy rental car he passes off as his own. Detectives say he’s not licenced to drive, and even tried to sell the rental car to a victim’s son. Victims of romantic scams are often embarrassed to come forward, but police need their help. Anyone who has information on Cagnotti, or believes they may have been a victim of his frauds, is asked to call Detective Constable Coulter at 705-436-2141 or 905-775-3311, ext 1042. I have come to know Mr.C and i would just like to say that people change he met a woman that he loved dearly and had his realationship ruined due to slanderous comments the real con artists are people like wendi m the sixty year old queen of plenty of fish who say shes 55 and dates three men at once
Serial CONMAN do not change! Just ask the police over the past 3 decades who have the pleasure of arresting him time and time again. Commenting about the women on this blog is tacky, childish and inappropriate. Considering your lack of punctuation and style, Conwarn is calling you out Enrico!
MrMartini, really? How well do you think you know the conman. Released from jail in May 2015, arrested in November 2015 with multiple jurisdictions posting warrants... Hardly enough time to dearly fall in love with any one person considering there were many.. Except of course the delusional mind of someone who lives a lie, day in, day out. This conman will never change!
